The Giant Raceway Set, features the new AFX Mega G+ Racing System with the Tri-Power Pack. The Tri-Power Packs allows racers to choose one of three selectable power levels. This allows new drivers to learn to race without getting frustrated. And setting the level is as simple as flipping the switch on the side of the Pack. With the new Tri-Power Pack, parents can race with their younger children without the child crashing all the time. And when you get faster, the Mega G+ system lets you race at the limit with far fewer "offs". More fun longer, what a concept!

The Tri Power Pack Power levels work like this

Beginner: Cars will stay on the track through about 95% to 100%* of the turns even at full throttle
Intermediate: Cars will stay on the track through about 60% to 70%* of the turns at full throttle
Expert: You’re on your own!

Mega-G+ Race System

The Mega-G+ Race System is a Slot Car system developed by AFX to provide both, a beginner Friendly Slot Car Platform to learn on and a High-Performance Slot Car Race System for Experienced Racers.

To achieve this AFX went back to the drawing board with their famous Mega-G Chassis, and completely redesigned the chassis around a completely new motor, the FN20. The new Mega-G+ chassis is Lower, Narrower, handles better and is Stronger, Lighter and Faster. From there the Controller was upgraded to the new AFX 120 Ohm Controller to suit the new Mega-G+ Chassis for perfect control. To power the new system, a new easy to use, Adjustable, Powerful, Power Pack was developed. The all new Tri-Power Pack with 3 Power Settings, (Beginners 8v, Intermediate 12v, and Expert 18v), makes this system, suitable for Racers of all Skill Levels.
