Ayrton the pantheon of motorsport, few names resonate with the same electric intensity as Ayrton Senna. Fiercely competitive and relentless in his pursuit of perfection, Senna built a legacy as one of the greatest drivers in the history of the sport.

His passion for racing began in a kart his father built, powered by an old lawnmower engine. It was 1964 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Senna had just turned 4. At 13 he got his first taste of victory racing professionally. His early race career was a barrage of race wins and championships and by 1983 he'd garnered the interest of a small team in England, Formula 1 Team Toleman.

His short but pivotal tenure with Toleman led to his move to Team Lotus in 1985, from which erupted a golden era of racing. His exceptional performances in the innovative black and gold Lotus 97T earned him memorable wins like those at the Portuguese Grand Prix when he outdrove his competitors despite awful weather conditions. Or, at the Monaco Grand Prix where he earned the moniker "King of Monaco".

Senna's technical prowess was lauded by engineers who claimed his insight into his car's performance to be remarkably specific and instrumental in the evolution of F1. In '87, Senna took the helm of the Lotus 99T, touting an advanced active suspension system that optimized handling and performance. His continued triumphs said it all; he was a legend in the making.

Mega-G+ Race System

The Mega-G+ Race System is a Slot Car system developed by AFX to provide both, a beginner Friendly Slot Car Platform to learn on and a High Performance Slot Car Race System for Experienced Racers.

To achieve this AFX went back to the drawing board with their famous Mega-G Chassis, and completely redesigned the chassis around a completely new motor, the FN20. The new Mega-G+ chassis is Lower, Narrower, handles better and is Stronger, Lighter and Faster. From there the Controller was upgraded to the new AFX 120 Ohm Controller to suit the new Mega-G+ Chassis for perfect control. To power the new system, a new easy to use, Adjustable, Powerful, Power Pack was developed. The all new Tri-Power Pack with 3 Power Settings, (Beginners 8v, Intermediate 12v, and Expert 22V), makes this system, suitable for Racers of all Skill Levels.
