T24321 Tamiya Honda NSR Type R

At the end of 1992, Honda released a special version of their NSX high performance sports car called the NSX-R. The transverse mounted 3-liter V6 DOHC VTEC engine was refined to further improve response while running at higher RPM.

The double wishbone suspension also underwent extensive tuning in order to increase the car's handling on circuits. The cockpit was appointed with a Momo three-spoke steering wheel, solid titanium shift knob, and racing bucket seats. The NSX-R was also 120kg lighter thanks to the removal of noise insulation material and creature comforts, making it a no-nonsense track-bred machine.
