Winning the All Japan Road Race Championship 500cc class on his Yamaha YZR three years back to back from 1983 was Tadahiko Taira. His impressive machine, the Yamaha YZR500, comes realized as a 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit model. The unique characteristics of the YZR's 2-stroke V4 engine are precisely reproduced, and each ignition cord is depicted with vinyl tubing to provide a greater finish. The aerodynamic form of the body cowlings, fuel tank, and seat cowling have been faithfully rendered. Markings to depict Tadahiko Taira's 1983 championship winning machine are included.
