For Optimal Performance

It is recommended to glue Paul Gage Tires to the wheels using clear nail polish and then lightly sand the tires to true them up.

This is easily done by first cleaning the tire with Acetone, lightly sanding the inside and outside beads of the hub, then paint a generous layer of clear nail polish on the inside bead and the outside bead of the hub (but not the Center Rib), and mount the tire and allow one hour to dry, then sand them true, and off you go.

Tire Identification and Part Numbers (XXX-NNNNNXXX)

Part Numbers consists of a 3 Character Prefix, followed by 5-6 Digits and a 1-3 Character Suffix.

XXX Three Character Prefix – XPG or PGT
Where Tires with a XPG prefix are a softer Shore 20 compound. And Tires with a PGT prefix are a harder Shore 40 Compound.

5-6 Digit Part No NNNNNN
First Two Digits: Outer diameter (in mm)
Second Pair of Digits: Overall Width (in mm)
Last Digit(s): Width of the Center Rib (in mm)

1-3 Character Suffix XXX, denotes the following
LM - Larger Center Opening (Lower Profile Sidewalls)
XD - Deeper Center Groove for wheels with a taller Center Rib
XXD - Even deeper Center Groove for wheels with a very tall Center Rib
FF – F1 tyre with Fat Sidewalls
SE – More rounded sidewall with a narrower contact patch. This helps in fitting tires to clear some body work. Also gives a more Street or Stock look on some models
