The Slot.it Nissan Porsche 956C is a High Performance, Ready to Run, Competition Slot Car. Featuring a Plastic Chassis with adjustable Height Front Axle and Magnatraction. This car is powered by the Slot.it V12/4, 23 000 rpm Short-Can Motor mounted in an, In-Line Offset Motor Pod, and fitted with Plastic Front Wheels, and Aluminium Rear Wheels with Brass Bushes.

The Slot.it Cars are well designed and constructed, with detailed interiors, excellent paint finishes and sharp tampo printing. The design and construction of the Slot.it Cars allows for Tuning, and Upgrades, with a range of performance parts available.

History

The 1983 Le Mans winning Porsche 956 LH, in iconic Rothmans livery and in Group C specifications. And equipped with aerodynamic ground effects, and the 470-plus kilowatt twin-turbo flat-six powering the rear wheels via a dual-clutch five-speed manual gearbox.
In 1982 the 956 took second place at Le Mans, driven by Jochen Mass and Vern Schuppan. In 1983 Porsche returned, again with Vern Schuppan at the wheel, alongside Hurley Kaywood, and Al Holbert who crossed the finish line 63 seconds ahead of the second-placed Porsche 956 of Jacky Ickx and Derek Bell. It’s still remembered as one of the great Le Mans wins.
