History

The 1970 Nurburgring 1000km was the 7th round of the World Sports Car Championship. This was an Endurance Race
Held at the Nurburg West Germany. The Porsche Works Teams decided to use the lighter and Nimble Porsche 908/3, as it was better suited to the twisty and challenging Nurburgring than the Porsche 917K.
