These one-of-a-kind race cars are the ultimate collector’s item. With an official license from Sauber Motorsport, AFX used the sponsor logos, livery details and body specs of the real life cars to create the most realistic HO scale version possible.

The Swiss company, Sauber Motorsport, shot off the starting line when it was founded in 1970. After its debut in F1 in 1993, Sauber carved out a name for itself. Not only were they one of the few traditional, privately held teams in the sport, they set standards in the design, development and construction of race cars to this day.

Sauber Motorsport operates and manages the Alfa Romeo F1 Team, conducting full and model-scale testing in the factory’s state-of-the-art wind tunnel providing ground-breaking innovation in the field of aerodynamics. The company’s evolutionary skill and artistry helped earn its induction into the exclusive club of teams to have competed in more than 500 F1 races. In 2022, Sauber Motorsport celebrated 30 years in the sport and continues to dominate both on and off the track.

This livery is the Full Year car for #24 Driver, Zhou Guanyu. Guanyu is paving the way as the first Chinese driver ever to enter F1. The Rookie of the Team, Guanyu has already carved out his place in the team finishing 4 points behind his team leader, Bottas in 2023 and out-qualifying him 6 whole times that season. His full year car’s livery matches Bottas’ with its deep, stark red-on-black body and matching wheel well with one distinguishing element: a yellow camera pod.

The Mega-G+ Chassis is a completely new chassis that sets a new standard in performance, detail and accuracy. It is not only faster and lighter, it also corners and handles better, and is more fun and easier to drive. The new Mega-G+ chassis has been completely re-designed from the ground up to be smoother, quieter, more durable. It is 5% lighter and uses 33% less electricity, and runs cooler than the original Mega-G chassis. The new Mega-G+ chassis makes it possible to create more stunning, accurate and realistic bodies than ever before, due to its long wheelbase, low center of gravity and narrow dimensions. Combine that with superb graphics, which uses up to 8 colours and you have set a new standard, in detail and accuracy for 1/64 scale cars.
