RS0013 RevoSlot Marcos LM600 – White Race Kit

This is the White Race Kit of the Marcos LM600, the Body is supplied unassembled and unpainted ready to be painted with your chosen Livery.

Introducing the next release from Revo Slot, the Marcos LM600.
The Revo Slot Marcos has also been developed in partnership with BRM, and has a similar configuration to their first car, the Porsche 911 GT2.

BRM was assigned the task of chassis design and development. The BRM developed chassis is similar to the Porsche 911 GT2, with a Black Anodised CNC Aluminium Chassis with a floating body mount. The chassis is fitted with Aluminium Axle Carriers and Motor Mounts with Front and Rear Aluminium wheels. And Ball Bearings for both front and rear axles with a Spring Swivel Guide.

Revo Slot has chosen the Marcos Mantara LM600 for it’s Second release. With a range of 6 cars with 5 different liveries and a White Race Kit. This Second release will introduce a new car model to compete with the Porsche 911 GT2, and will satisfy Racers and Enthusiasts around the world.

History

The LM Racer was first introduced to the world at the 1993 Earls Court Motor Show, and signalled Marcos’ intent to return to Le Mans. At the time, the Mantara was a fully factory assembled car introduced in 1992, but was not suitable for a Race Car. And so the LM400 was designed and built using a 3.9 litre Rover V8. This was followed by the LM500 with a 5.0 Litre Rover V8. And then in 1995, the LM600 with a small block 6 litre V8 Chevrolet Engine.

To qualify for GT Racing the Marcos factory had to offer a certain number of Cars similar to the race cars to the public as road cars.
