History
The lotus Evora is a 2 Door, mid-engined sportscar, and is Lotus’ most powerful production performance car ever. The car is powered by a supercharged, 3.5 litre DOHC V6 Engine, and launched in July 2008 at the British International Motorshow. The Lotus Evora is the first all new vehicle platform since the introduction of the lotus Elise in 1995. The Exige, and the Europa were both derivatives of the Elise platform. The Evora was designed primarily as a practical road car. And its name is derived from the words evolution, vogue and aura.
This Lotus Evora GT4 competed in the British GT series of 2012 at Rockingham on 10th June in the GT4 class. It was entered by Lotus Sports UK, and driven by Sailesh Bolisetti and Phil Glew.
